Our August issue features the completion of Carol Helen Beule's series on her journey from a costume designer to designer of one-of-a-kind pots for Vanda falcata and other specialized applications. In addition, Stig Dalström and his collaborators present another in their series Orchids of Bhutan with a discussion of the paphiopedilums of the land of the thunder dragon. Simon Verlynde and collaborators present the first part of an intended series on orchid conservation in Madagascar discussion five of the most threatened species. Last but not least, Greg Griffis and coauthors present the newly renovated Orchid House at Longwood Gardens.
